At Evermark, ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of both our employees and customers has always been paramount. In recent weeks and especially over the last several days, it’s become clear that efforts to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on the current and future health, safety, and success of the US, and indeed the world, is challenging individuals and commerce alike.
Thus far, we have been carefully following the guides for health and safety as set out by our federal and local governments and will continue to do so. As such, today, the decision was made by the leadership of Evermark to reduce office staff to essential operations only.
What does this mean for you, our customers?
First, we want you to know we plan to and believe we can continue to fulfill all orders and maintain timely delivery. Right now, there have been no changes to shipping and receiving hours or operation, other than we are asking all drivers to check-in with their bill of lading and then return to the truck while your shipment is loaded. If any of the above changes in any way as the virus or government suggestions and mandates evolve, we will relay that information back to you as quickly as possible.
Additionally, a constituency of staff and managers will be covering our office on a rotating basis. And while others will be telecommuting, someone will always be available to address your call or email during standard operating hours. Our primary goal is to maintain safety while assisting you with the same professionalism and expediency you’re accustomed to receiving from Evermark.
Regarding meetings and/or sales calls and visits, no team members or representatives will be traveling by air, or even vehicle, at this time. Alternately, any necessary interpersonal interactions can be managed through calls or even live web conferences.
